Ann Leerar, 83, of Forest City, died Monday (Jan. 8, 1996) at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church, Crystal Lake, with the Rev. Kenneth Suetterlin officiating. Burial will be in Crystal Township Cemetery, Crystal Lake. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ewing Funeral Chapel, Britt.

Ann Leerar was born Oct. 6, 1912, near Kanawha in Wright County. Survivors include her husband, William "Bill" Leerar; one daughter, Kathryn Crotty of Wauwatesa, Wis.; three sons, Raymond Leerar of Alsip, Ill.; Marvin Leerar of Clifton, Va., and Roger Leerar of Britt; one sister, Della Davids of Iowa City; six brothers, Bert Davids and John Davids, both of San Diego, Calif.; Donald Davids of Elkhart, Ind.; William Davids of Belmond; Marienus Davids of Spring Valley, Minn., and Robert Davids of Washington, D.C.; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
