RENWICK — John "Jack" Arnold Palmer, 80, died Wednesday (Feb. 18, 1998) at the Rotary Ann Nursing Home, Eagle Grove. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at the United Methodist Church, Renwick, with the Rev. Karen Dearchs, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, rural Renwick. Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Garry-Roberts-Murphy-Schaaf Funeral Home, Renwick.

John Arnold Palmer was born April 14, 1917, in Boone Township, Wright County, near Renwick.
Survivors include his sons, Randy Palmer and Curt Palmer, both of Renwick, and Rick Palmer, of Pepin, Wis.; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Fern Severns, Britt; and one brother, Donald Palmer, Renwick. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife.
