CLARION --Jean Lester, 70, died Tuesday (Oct. 31, 1995) at the University Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Catholic Church, Clarion, with the Rev. Wayne Droessler officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 3 p.m. today at Willim Funeral Home. A Rosary will be followed by a vigil for the deceased at 7 p.m.

Jean Lester was born June 24, 1925, in Mason City. Survivors include her husband, George "Bob;" two daughters, Kathy Lester and Colleen Parks, both of Clarion; two sisters, Maureen Berding of Plymouth, and Dorothy Jones of Belmond; one brother, Robert Hocraffer of Clarion; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
