September 8, 2000WATERLOO - Pearl J. Aldinger, 94, formerly of Clarion, died Tuesday (Sept. 5, 2000) at Rosewood Estates, Waterloo. Memorial Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at United Church of Christ Congregational Church in Belmond. Inurnment will be in Graceland Cemetery, Rowan. There will be no visitation. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service in Waterloo is in charge of arrangements.
Pearl was born March 16, 1906, in rural Wright County, daughter of Simon A. and Carrie Steenblock Bohning. She married Charles H. Aldinger on June 9, 1927, in Clarion. He died Feb. 17, 1977. She is survived by two sons, Jack of Independence, and Karl of Stevens Point, Wis.; a daughter, Audrey Wright of Waterloo; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Pearl was preceded in death by six brothers, Pete, Ed, Sam, Paul, Andrew and David Bohning; and two sisters, Martha and Gail Bohning. Memorials may be directed to the family.
