Harold Ralph "Jack" Bayliss, 94, of Belmond, died Monday (May 5, 1997) at the Belmond Health Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ken Fineran officiating. Interment will be in the Belmond Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Dugger-Ewing Funeral Home and one hour prior to services at the church. Harold Ralph "Jack" Bayliss was born Feb. 19, 1903, near Belmond. Survivors include one daughter Janele Valasek of Osage; three grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; one great-grandchild; nine stepgreat-grandchildren; and one step great-great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, four stepsons, one stepdaughter, three brothers and two sisters.
