Lyle C. Williams Sr., 88, of Dows, died Saturday (Nov. 4, 1995) at the Clarion Community Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church, Dows, with the Rev. James R. Turner officiating. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Elledge Funeral Home.

Lyle C. Williams was born Nov. 3, 1907, at Dows. Survivors include his wife, Arline, of Dows; one daughter, Catherine Andree of Austin, Minn.; and one son, Lyle Jr. of Austin, Minn.; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Fonda Smith of Hampton. He was preceded in death by his parents, eight brothers, three sisters and one great-grandson.
