Shirley Kruger, 78, of Belmond, died Tuesday (March 26, 1996) at North Iowa Mercy Health Center East, Mason City. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the United Church of Rowan, with the Rev. JoAn Lent Skyrme officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery, Rowan. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. today at the Tenold Funeral Home, Belmond, and at the church one hour prior to services at the church. Shirley Kruger was born Aug. 1, 1917, at Laurel. She is survived by her husband, Charles, of Belmond; one son, Robert Kruger of Alexander; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild.
