MASON CITY - Elizabeth Tosel, 92, of Mason City, died Sunday (Nov. 19, 2000) at the Heritage Care Center. She entered her rest on her birthday. Elizabeth was born Nov. 19, 1908, on a farm in Cerro Gordo County, the daughter of Charles and Lizzie (Sutton) Anderson. She received her education in this area, and later began teaching grade school in Dows, Iowa. Elizabeth continued teaching for many years. She married Leonard Tosel on Aug. 11, 1966, in Northwood. Elizabeth is survived by two grandsons, Martin Charles Anderson, of Mason City, Iowa, and Brian Anderson, of Plymouth, Iowa and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E. in Mason City. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel.
