DOWS— Reinhard Richard ‘Dick’ VanGerpen, 74, of Dows, died Friday (July 30, 2004) at Franklin General Nursing Facility in Hampton. Funeral services for Dick VanGerpen will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Lutheran Church in Dows with Pastor Paul Thompson officiating. A private family inurnment will be at a later date. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Monday at the Ewing Dugger Group, Dows Community Funeral Home in Dows and one hour prior to services.
