Agnes B. Mellang, 84, of Clarion, died Thursday (Dec. 12, 1996) at the home of her sister, Clarion. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, at the First Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Gerald Dyste, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until time of services at the church. Willim Funeral Home, Clarion, is in charge of arrangements.

Agnes B. Mellang, [nee Moen] was born May 5, 1912, on a farm near Leland. Survivors include one son, Lanny Mellang, Rising Sun, Ind.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; three sisters, Hazel Becket, of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; Bergil Whitman, Clarion, and Elvina Moen, of Chicago, Ill. She was preceded in death by parents, and seven brothers.
