Mildred Loux, 86, of Clarion, died Thursday (Aug. 22, 1996) at the Clarion Healthcare Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the United Church of Christ Congregational, with the Rev. Curt Miner officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Willim Funeral Home.

Mildred Loux was born March 29, 1910, in Wright County. Survivors include three daughters, Lois E. Fleagle of Cedar Rapids; Marilyn R. Cramer of Urbana, Ill., and Karen M. Mechem, of Upland, Calif.; one son, Dennis L. Loux, of Hiawatha; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Shy Reiland and Velma Peterson, both of Clarion, and Virginia Surber, of Eagle Grove; and two brothers, Dean and Donald Schroeder, both of Clarion. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers, two sisters and one daughter.
