Omaha, NE - Funeral service for Mary Wildin Francis, 79 of Omaha, NE, was held Jan. 30 in the Presbyterian Church of the Cross at Omaha. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Crosby-Burket-Swanson-Golden Chapel in charge of local arrangements.

Mary was born at Eagle Grove, IA Dec. 27, 1910. She moved with her parents to a farm in Cresco Township of Kossuth County, IA in the spring of 1913. Mary received her education in a country school, then graduated from Algona High School. She taught in Kossuth County rural schools for eight years. She was married to Leonard Francis on June 28, 1935 in the Little Brown Church at Nashua, IA. Mary Francis died Jan. 26, 1990, after a lengthy illness with Alzheimers Disease. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of the Cross at Omaha.

Surviving are two sons, James and Richard, both of Omaha, and a step-daughter, Jeanne Francis, Kansas City, MO. Also surviving are two brothers and a sister; George Wildin, rural Algona; Lewis, rural Owatonna, MN and Wilma Bacon, Algona, all of whom attended the funeral service at Omaha.
