Tim L. Downs, 55, of Clarion, died Monday (April 14, 1997) from injuries suffered while working at the Blairsburg Co-op. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Church of Christ, with Mark Young officiating. The body will be cremated following services. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Willim
Funeral Home.

Tim L. Downs was born Feb. 18, 1942, in St. Paul, Minn. Survivors include his wife, Beverly, of Clarion; three daughters, Juanita Jergenson of Clear Lake; Jill Nelson of Lake Mills, and Tammi Downs of Mason City; one son, Jeff Downs of Clarion; his mother, Naomi Plath of Kiester, Minn.; three sisters, Anita Trastem of Kiester, Minn.; Margaret Steenblock of Klemme, and Kathy Garbrielson of Britt; and two brothers, Tom Downs of Franklin, Tenn., and Chuck Downs, St. Paul, Minn. He was preceded in death by his father.
