Pfc. Corey C. Pittman, 18, of Clarion, died Thursday (July 4, 1996) at Tijuana, Mexico. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Clarion Church of Christ, with Mark Young officiating. Committal services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minn. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Willim Funeral Home, Clarion. Survivors include his mother, Kim Pittman of Clarion; father, Ron Pittman, Roseville, Minn.; grandparents, Lyle Pittman of Sheridan, Wyo.; Orville and Laura Servin of Bloomington, Minn.; one sister, Jamie Pittman of Clarion; and one brother, Mark Pittman of Clarion. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother.
