John S. Twedt, 90, of Clarion, died Tuesday (July 9, 1996) at the Clarion Community Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the United Church of Christ Congregational, with the Rev. Curt Miner officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery with graveside military honors by the Clarion American Legion and VFW. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. today with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Willim Funeral Home, Clarion.

John S. Twedt was born Sept. 29, 1905, in Skjol, near Haugesend, Norway. Survivors include his wife, Violet Twedt of Clarion. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and four sisters.
