Lloyd Buterbaugh, 79, Belmond, died Thursday (Nov. 16, 1995) at the Belmond Health Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Currier officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Military rites will be provided by the Belmond Honor Guard. Visitation will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the Ewing
Funeral Home, with a parish rosary at 2:30 p.m. and a scriptural wake at 7:30 p.m.

Lloyd Buterbaugh was born March 19, 1916 in Britt. Survivors include his wife, Michelina `Lina' Buterbaugh of Belmond; three daughters, Loretta Pittman of Vernon Hills, Ill., Shirley Bowers and Sylvia Baker, both of Des Moines; one sister, Alice Flanagan of Belmond; one brother, George Buterbaugh of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
