Funeral services for Carl Heginger, 64, will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Immanuel Reformed United Church of Christ. The Rev. George Behrens will officiate. Burial will be in the Klemme Cemetery with Johnston Funeral Home of Klemme in charge. Born in Hancock County Feb. 11, 1904, he was the son of John and Fannie Heginger. He died Tuesday at Belmond hospital following a long illness. He was married to Etta Harms Feb. 3, 1934, in Mason City. He was employed by the Hancock County Highway Commission many years. Surviving are his wife, 10 children, Lavern, Callender; Lyle, Belmond; Mrs. Roger (Lois) Ward, State Center; Carl Jr., Klemme; Mrs. John (Edna) Van Gerpin, Center Point; Bill, Klemme; Mrs. Jerry (Sharon) Weide, Garner; Zelda, Anthony and Ricky, all at home. Six sisters also survive.
