FORT WORTH -- Frances McGrath, 86, a secretary with Fort Worth public schools for over 30 years, passed away Monday, Nov. 17, 2003, in San Antonio, Texas. Graveside service: 1 p.m. Saturday in Greenwood Cemetery, Fort Worth. Visitation: Viewing and visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Guardian Funeral Home in Fort Worth.

Mrs. McGrath was born Dec. 11, 1916, in Plattsmouth, Neb. She married Howard Aaron McGrath from Clarion, Iowa, on Sept. 4, 1938. He preceded her in death in 1995. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Clint Sanderson, and by a great-granddaughter, Jennifer McGrath. She was a member of the Girls' Service League, a member of the Opti-Mrs at First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth and a member of NPS.

Survivors: Son, Mike McGrath and wife, Debbie; daughter, Lynda Sanderson; brother, Bub Gamblin; grandchildren, Stacie Davila and husband, Raymond, Kelli Naylor and husband, John, and Mik McGrath and wife, Terrye; great-grandchildren, Cassidy Davila, Dylan Davila, Brendan McGrath, Nicholas McGrath and Jordan Naylor.
