Leonard Jergensen, 62, died Tuesday (April 23, 1968) morning at Clarion Community Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient since Thursday.

Services will be held at the Eyler funeral Home at 10 o’clock on Friday morning with Rev. Orian Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery at Clarion.

Surviving are a daughter, Norma, Mrs. Jack Tarbutton, Brea, Calif.; two grandchildren; three brothers, and five sisters, Grant, Clarion; Ben, Spirit lake, Jess, Lu Verne; Mrs. Howard Larson, Vincent; Mrs. Clarice Crum, Des Moines; Mrs. Sam Nerem, Renwick, Mrs. Violet Jergensen and Mrs. Elwood Middleton, Eagle Grove.

Mr. Jergensen was a lifelong resident of Wright County having been born near Eagle Grove. He was custodian of the Clarion Community Memorial Hospital for more than 16 years. Mrs. Jergensen died in 1966.

He was a member of the United Presbyterian church and had served as an elder.
