Kenneth C. Whitten, 86, of Rowan, died Monday (Dec. 4, 1995) at the Clarion Healthcare Center. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the United Church of Rowan, with the Rev. JoAn Lent Skyrme officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will begin 3 p.m. today, with the family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Willim Funeral Home, Clarion.

Kenneth C. Whitten was born Dec. 4, 1909, in Rowan. Survivors include his wife, Zona Whitten of Rowan; two daughters, Donna Dawn Vaughn of LaPlace, La., and Madeline Kay McCulley of Ramsey, Minn.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ralph Whitten of Urbandale. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
