Thomas TerHark, 76, of Kanawha, died Tuesday (Dec. 12, 1995) at the Kanawha Community Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Matthew Miller officiating. Burial will be in Amsterdam Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the Ewing Funeral Home, Kanawha, and one hour prior to services at the church.

Thomas TerHark was born March 25, 1919, in Clarion. Survivors include his wife, Verle TerHark of Kanawha; two daughters, Dianne Daniels of Belmond, and Joyce Johnson of Kanawha; two sons, Dennis TerHark of Kanawha, and Jerry TerHark of Springfield, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Sadie Swenson and Helena Kurtz, both of Belmond, and Jennie Eygabroad of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and seven
brothers.
