Ruth Meyer, 81, of Hampton, died on Tuesday, October 8, 2002, at the Franklin General Hospital, Hampton. Funeral services were held on Thursday, October 10, at Latimer, with burial in the Hillside Cemetery, Sheffield. Ruth was born on December 13, 1920 in Belmond, the daughter of Frank Kemp and Louise Heginger. She attended the Belmond Schools. She married Victor Meyer on October 4, 1941.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and one brother, Elmer. Survivors are her husband of Hampton; son, Terry (Pamela) Meyer of Thornton; brother, Art Kemp of Colome, South Dakota; and sister, Esther Malzer of Nebraska City, Nebraska.
