Harley E. McClughen, 89, of Frankfort, Indiana died at 2:22 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2007, at Wesley Manor Health Care Center. Born Oct. 18, 1917, in Belmond, Iowa, he was the son of the late Charles and Gertrude Guest McClughen. He grew up in Evansville and moved to Frankfort in 1933. Mr. McClughen worked in the service department at Raymond Walters Studebaker, Art Smith Studebaker/Lincoln Mercury and Than Lenox Lincoln Mercury dealerships, all in Frankfort, for more than 35 years. He was a member of Woodside Christian Church. Surviving are a son, Ron McClughen (wife: Sharon) of Frankfort; a daughter, Marilyn Toney (husband: Bill) of Artesia, N.M.; a step-son, John Catron (wife: Phyllis) of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; and a stepdaughter, Jane Rule (husband: Dave) of Peoria, Ill. Services are Tuesday in Frankfort.
