THOMPSON, Iowa— Roy Lee, 89, died Saturday (Oct. 18, 1997) at the Lake Mills Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Liberty Lutheran Church in Rake with the Rev. Elwin Walvatne officiating. Burial will be in the West Cemetery in Rake. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Winter Funeral Home in Buffalo Center, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church.

Roy Lee was born April 24, 1908, in Belmond. Survivors include his wife, Selma of Thompson; his children, Merline Rufledt of Sand Creek, Wis., Eunice Gross of Auburndale, Calif., Jane Lee of Cedar Rapids, Sharon Lien of Colvis, Calif., Ruth Ostergaard of Olathe, Kan., Lois Lee of Vancouver, Wash., and Nathan Lee of Fergus Falls, Minn.; 10 grandchildren and 11 step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and four brothers.
