Delbert Charles Lutz, 80, of Rogers, Ark., died Saturday, May 28, 2005, at home. He was born March 15, 1925, in Eagle Grove, Iowa, to William Robert Lutz and Gertrude Eva McCray Lutz. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in New Guinea and the Philippines during World War II. He enjoyed gardening, cooking and crafts. After moving from Lubbock, Texas, to Rogers, he retired from Wal-Mart. He was preceded in death by a brother, Clifford Lutz. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Tennie Marie Lutz of the home; a son, William Owen Lutz of Rogers; a sister, Violet Gertrude Kallem of Eagle Grove, Iowa; and two grandchildren, Ryan Seth Lutz and Nikita Marie Lutz, both of Rogers. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, at Rollins Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Ark.
