Donald O. Sill, 88, formerly of West Des Moines, passed away on February 29, 2004 at the Kennestone Hospice in Marietta, GA, from complications of a stroke. Don was born October 12, 1915 in Eagle Grove, Iowa. He was a graduate of Iowa State University and the University of Pennsylvania. Don was employed as a mechanical engineer at Solar Aircraft in Des Moines and Delavan Manufacturing in West Des Moines. His hobbies included round dancing and playing bridge.

Don is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dorothy of Marietta, GA; daughters, Donna (Mike) Wilson of Des Moines and Janet Adams of Smyrna, GA; son, Robert (Gloria) Sill of Lilburn, GA; a sister, Patricia Fritz of Manteca, CA; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and a nephew. The body has been cremated and burial of the cremains will be at a later date in Eagle Grove, IA.
