Marilyn Beth Erickson, 70, of Mediapolis, died on Thursday, November 14, 2002, at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington. A private graveside service will be held later in the Kossuth Cemetery. Marilyn was born on August 17, 1932 in Belmond, the daughter of Robert Coleman and Edna Arlie Allaben McNutt. She married the Rev. Harry H. Feistner in Goodell in 1955. He died in 1970. In 1979 she married Alfred C. Erickson in Mediapolis. Marilyn was a teacher for many years in southeast Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and one sister. Survivors include two daughters, Debra Feistner of San Diego, California and Cynthia Kumar of Grand Island, Nebraska; one son, Barry Feistner of Mediapolis; and one brother, Gene McNutt of Longmont, Colorado.
