Eke H. Agena, 90, of Dows, died Wednesday (May 29, 1996) at the Clarion Community Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at the First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Glenn Kappelmann officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery. Elledge Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Eke H. Agena was born Sept. 22, 1905, in Upende, Germany. Survivors include two sisters, Elise Meier of Clear Lake, and Marguerite Horn of Bloomington, Minn.; three sons, Ben of Nashville, Ark., Ubbo of St. Charles, and Maynard of Dows; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers and sisters.
