Kenneth Leroy Ammerman, 63, of Clarion, died Tuesday (Oct. 21, 1997) at the Community Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the United Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Candace Adams officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Willim Funeral Home.

Kenneth Leroy Ammerman was born on Aug. 7, 1934, at Goldfield. Survivors include his wife, Caroline, of Clarion; children, Keith, of Farmington, N.M.; Roger of Clarion; and Colleen Hiemstra of Goldfield; five granddaughters; his mother, Lena Ammerman of Clarion; brothers, Lyle of Clarion; Melvin and Donald, both of Dows; Robert of Tulsa, Okla., and Ronald of Grand Island, Neb.; and two sisters, Betty Hilpipre of Homer, Ill., and LaVonne Maxwell of Clarion. He was preceded in death by his father and one sister.
