GRAVESIDE SERVICE HERE SATURDAY FOR ALVIN GREENFIELD

Graveside services for Alvin B. Greenfield of Gunnison, once a resident of Holyoke, was held Saturday morning, July 13, at Holyoke Memorial Park, with Rev. Howard Amstutz of the Baptist church officiating. Arrangements were in charge of the Lewis Funeral Home. Mr. Greenfield, who was 66 years of age, passed away July 6 at Gunnison, Colorado as the result of a massive hemorrhage. He had made his home in Gunnison for the past five years. Mr. Greenfield resided in Holyoke for a number of years as a young man. He was the son of Menno and Esther Kelly Greenfield and was born June 26, 1902 at Belmond, Iowa. Survivors include one daughter, [missing...]; four sisters, Mae, Mrs. George Wiebold, Marengo, Iowa, Alma, Mrs. R.J. Ralston, Laguna Beach, California, Esther, Mrs. C.E. Burson, Denver, and Lucille, Mrs. Daryl Cook, Arvada; one grandchild; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Preceding Mr. Greenfield in death were his parents and an infant brother.
