Ruth G. Lyons, 88, a resident of Sunrise Hill Care Center, died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 1998, in Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, after an extended illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, United Methodist Church, Traer. Burial: 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Glenwood Cemetery, Goldfield. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Overton Funeral Home, Traer. Survivors include two sons, Glenn of Alton and Charles of Camanche; two daughters, Marilyn Irelan of Glendale, Ariz., and Judith Morrison of Traer; and a sister, Margie Miles of Lenexa, Kan.
