Margaret L. (Larsen) Jones, 85, of Naperville, Illinois died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001, at Meadowbrook Manor in Naperville. She was born April 22, 1916, in Eagle Grove, Iowa. A Naperville resident since 1994, she was a member of Wheatland Salem United Methodist Church in Naperville. She had been a resident of Eagle Grove from birth until 1994. She was very involved with her husband's ministry in the United Methodist churches throughout Iowa. She was also an artist specializing in rosemaling and painting.

She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Davidson of Mesa, Ariz., Cheryl (husband Thomas) Todd of Oswego and Sandra Brewer of Nashua, Iowa; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Hoffner, Stephanie Todd, Christopher Hoffner, Valerie (husband David) Gordon, Andrea (husband Jeff) Cummings, Harlan Brewer and Dale Brewer; three step-grandchildren, Jason (wife Kimberly) Todd, Karen (husband Michael) Snyder and Emily Todd; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lorraine Jones of Hudson, Colo. She was preceded in death by her husband, The Rev. Robert Jones, and two sisters.

Visitation will take place from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at the United Methodist Church of Eagle Grove, 421 W. Broadway St., Eagle Grove, Iowa. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Eagle Grove. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association, Chicago Area Chapter, 4709 Golf Road, Suite 1015, Skokie, IL 60076. Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home in Naperville handled local arrangements.
