Leona Jean Gaster, 73, of Clarion, died Thursday (Jan. 21, 1999) at the Community Memorial Hospital, Clarion. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, Clarion, with the Rev. Charles Kellogg officiating. Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. in Graceland Cemetery, Webster City. Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Willim Funeral Home, Clarion.

Leona Jean Gaster was born Jan. 6, 1926, at Clarion. Survivors include her husband, Don, of Clarion; three children, Charles Gaster, of Scottsdale, Ariz., Howard Gaster, of Goldfield, and Donna Chambers, of Eagle Grove; five grandchildren; five brothers and sisters, Donald Bell, of Norwalk, Eleanor Gray, of Stanhope, Veda Hartman, of New Virginia, Minn., Burdette Bell Jr., of Webster City, and Iris Hightower, of Fort Smith, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents.
