Pamela Knutson, 56, of Longmont, Colorado, formerly of Belmond, died on Saturday, December 27, 2003, at her home. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 30, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Longmont, with interment in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church Columbarium. Pamela, was born on January 11, 1947 in Bricelyn, Minnesota. She graduated from the Bricelyn High School and married Gary Knutson on December 26, 1965. She was a nurse's aid at the Ivy Stockwell Elementary School in Berthoud, Colorado, was involved with the Berthoud Booster Club, the Berthoud youth football and was a cheerleader sponsor. She enjoyed sports. She was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Pamela and Gary lived in Belmond from April 1972 to October 1977. Gary had a barbershop on Main Street during that time.
Preceding her in death were her mother, Audrey Alice (Harner) Johnson; father, Elwood M. Johnson; and brother, Harn Johnson. Survivors are her husband of Longmont; sons, Jay (Stacy) Knutson of Loveland and Lee Knutson and his fiancée, Lesa of Longmont; daughters, Molly (Jeremy) Kennis of Windsor; two sisters; and two grandchildren.
