Ret. Col. Howard "Mick" Finn, 85, of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, died on Wednesday, February 12, 2003, in Leavenworth, Kansas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25, in Pennsylvania, with burial on Wednesday, February 26, in the Arlington National Cemetery. He was born on October 10, 1917 in Belmond, the son of James and Ida Jacobs Finn. He retired from the Marine Corps after 28 years. He served in WW II, the Korean Conflict and Vietnam as a fighter pilot. He also retired from the Northern County School District. Preceding him in death was his wife, Marilynn J. McGuire Finn. He is survived by three sons; a daughter; two brothers, Richard Finn of Austin, Michigan and Roger Finn of Boise, Idaho; and a sister, Margaret "Peggy" Halverson of Belmond.
