Esther (Swenson) Polmateer, died on Sunday, April 17, 2005, at the Boone Hospital Center in Missouri. Funeral services were held on April 20 at the Richland Baptist Church in Fulton, Missouri. Esther Ruth, was born on March 25, 1919 in Belmond, to Peter and "Emma" Amoline (Nelson) Swenson. On January 1, 1937, she married George H. Polmateer. Esther and her family lived on a farm near Belmond until moving to a farm in the McCredie, Missouri area (later Kingdom City) in 1952. She was preceded in death by one sister; and five brothers. Survivors include her children, Barbara (Don) Tafuni, Gwen Workman, Mitchell (Kathryn) Polmateer, Linda (Ed) Hickman, Lyle (Nancy) Polmateer and Beverly Hayes; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
