Charles C. Watson, 85, London, Ontario, formerly of Sarasota, Florida died of natural causes Nov. 23, 2006, in Portsmouth, N.H., at the home of his daughter, Kay Wagner. He was born May 3, 1921, in Eagle Grove, Iowa, and retired as vice president of international sales for the Canadian Pacific Railroad. He graduated from John Marshall Law School and was an Army Air Forces pilot in World War II and the Korean War.

Survivors also include daughters Joan Kirkpatrick of Casa Grande, Ariz., and Elizabeth Mueller of London Ontario; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be Saturday in London, Ontario. Memorial donations may be made The Cathedral Church Of St. Paul, 472 Richmond St. London, Ontario N6A3E6

PORTSMOUTH -- Charles C. Watson, 85, of London, Ontario, died of natural causes on Thursday, Nov. 23, 2006, at the home of his daughter, Kay and son-in-law Bill Wagner. He was born May 3, 1921, in Eagle Grove, Iowa, the son of Glen and Mercy Watson. He was a decorated World War II and Korean War Army/Air Force pilot, a graduate of John Marshall Law School, a successful businessman who worked his way from office clerk to vice president of international sales for the Canadian Pacific Railroad and, most of all, a loving and proud husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Mr. Watson was predeceased by his wife, Alice, in 1993. He is survived by his three daughters, Kay Wagner and her husband, Bill, of Portsmouth, Joan Kirkpatrick and her husband, Jim, of Casa Grande, Ariz., and Elizabeth Mueller and her husband, Phil, of London, Ontario; 10 grandchildren, Charles Brent, Timothy and Neil Robbins, Colleen (Neal), Robert and Kevin Kirkpatrick and Sara and Kristin (Heslip) Mueller and Matthew and Megan (Davis) Wagner; and 12 great-grandchildren, with twins expected in April. His only sibling, Lucille O'Connell, of California, predeceased him in 1998.

SERVICES: Services will be held Saturday in London, Ontario, at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul. Memorial Donations may be made in Charles Watson's name to Cathedral Church of St. Paul, 472 Richmond St., London, Ontario N6A3E6
