Sadie E. WINEBRENNER GRAY
Widow of Frank (Dolly) GRAY

Mrs. Sadie E. Gray, widow of the late Frank (Dolly) Gray, died at Monmouth hospital, Sunday, at 11:10 p.m. Born in Chicago February 15, 1880, she was the daughter of George and Helen Winebrenner, and moved from Chicago to Eagle Grove, Ia, where she was reared and educated. She later moved to Keithsburg where she married February 15, 1899. Mr. and Mrs. Gray resided at the Gray homestead at Keithsburg, later coming to Monmouth. His death occured December 26, 1959. Surviving is one son, Col. Milo I. Gray of the U.S. Army, retired, of Long Beach, Calif., two grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Pierson, and a grandson, Jack Pierson, who was killed in Korea. Mrs. Gray was a member of the First Christian church. She had been a resident of the Warren County Nursing Home for several years. Funeral services are pending the arrival of Col. Gray. The body is at the Holliday and Hoover Memorial Chapel.
