Mildred "Tillie" Anderson, 75, of North Platte, Nebraska, formerly of Clarion, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2004. Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 24th at the United Methodist Church in Clarion. Pastor Don Morrison officiated at the 10:30 a.m service. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion.

Mildred Ilene Carlson was born June 13, 1929, on a farm near Renwick, the daughter of Tom and Charlotte (Johnson) Carlson. The family later moved to a farm south of Denhart where she attended country school. On August 28, 1948, Tillie was united in marriage to Verdie Harvey Anderson in Garner. The couple lived on a farm near Clarion, raising their two children. The couple moved to Clarion in 1975. Tillie worked for the Clarion Locker and Meredith Corporation, retiring in 1991.

She is survived by one daughter, Charlotte Davidson and husband, Michael of North Platte, Nebraska; one son, Thomas Anderson and wife, Deanna of Goldfield; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marie Minor of Clarion and Margaret Anderson of Kanawha; one brother, Donald Carlson of Watertown, Wisconsin; numerous nieces and nephews; and other family members. Tillie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and seven brothers.
