Lyle Eugene Steiner, 48, of New Providence, died at his home on Tuesday, November 16, 2004.
Funeral services were held Friday, November 19th at 2 p.m. at the Honey Creek-New Providence Friends Church in New Providence. Burial was in the New Providence Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.

Lyle Eugene Steiner was born July 20, 1956 in Clarion, the eldest son of Wendell and Mary Hahn Steiner. He was a 1974 graduate of the Clarion High School after which he continued to educate himself in any of the many occupations that he pursued. On May 27, 1978, Lyle married Kollene Marilyn Morgan, also of Clarion, and together they raised a family of five children. His occupations were a carpenter and farmer, using his skill with tools and love for animals to make a living for and with his family. He loved to sing and spent many years first with the Choralaires of Clarion, and then the Sacred Sounds Gospel Quartet. He was an EMT in Clarion, a 4-H leader in Ellsworth, and a Community Club member in New Providence.

Lyle is survived by his wife, Kollene of New Providence; three sons, Martin Steiner and wife, Angela of Eldora, Joel Steiner and Jason Steiner, both of New Providence; two daughters, Holly Steiner of Ames and Andrea Steiner of New Providence; mother, Mary Steiner of Woolstock; one brother, Robin Steiner and wife, Rebecca of Clarion; one sister-in-law, Loralie Ashton and husband, Jack of Moore, Oklahoma. Lyle was preceded in death by his father and infant son, Ryan Daniel.
