ANGIE STURGEON DODGE, 91, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday (April 17, 1988). Born in Clarion, Iowa, she came here in 1973 from Schenectady, N.Y., where she was a schoolteacher. She was a graduate of Sterling (Kan.) College, received her master's degree at Smith College, Northampton, Mass., and took graduate work at the University of North Carolina, University of Chicago and Columbia University in New York. Locally, she was a member of Lakewood United Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, James; a son, Rev. William Dodge, Schenectady, N.Y.; a niece, Jane Sturgeon, Durham, N.C.; and two grandchildren. Wilhelm-Thurston Funeral Home, St. Petersburg.
