Services for Frank Leroy Stevens, 81, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Miller-Jones Mortuary in Sun City. He died July 21 of congestive heart failure at Inland Valley Regional Medical Center in Wildomar. Friends may call at the mortuary from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday. Interment will be in Riverside National Cemetery. Mr. Stevens, who was born in Clarion, Iowa, lived in Sun City 25 years. He was a parts inspection supervisor for Douglas Aircraft in Long Beach for 25 years. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II. Mr. Stevens was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6252 in Kalamazoo, Mich. He also was a pilot. He enjoyed operating ham radios and working on his computer.

Mr. Stevens is survived by two sons, Timothy of Lawton, Mich., and Bill of Delton, Mich.; a stepdaughter, Marlene Myers of Coos Bay, Ore.; a stepson, Jerry Schlegel of Sun City; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Vera Hoogendorn of Mesa, Ariz., and Peg Miller of Eugene, Ore. The family suggests memorial contributions to The American Cancer Society, 7130 Magnolia Ave., Suite T, Riverside, CA 92504 and The American Heart Association, 1003 E. Cooley Dr., 102, Colton, CA, 92324.
