Funeral Services for Thomas LaRue, 95

James Thomas LaRue, age 95, of Dows died at the Taylor Nursing Home in Eagle Grove Sunday afternoon (Dec 4, 1966). He was born May 22, 1871 at Boaz, Wisconsin. He was the son of S. B and Mary LaRue. He was married to Edna Leach, who preceded him in death in September 1949. He is survivied by the following children; Hazel (Mrs. Gerald Boyington) of Dows; Lyle LaRue of Dows; Mrs Thelma Bowers of Waterloo and Frank LaRue of Des Moines. One sister Elsie Fields of Tacoma, Washington; 13 Grandchildren, 31 Great Grandchildren and one Great Great Grandchild. Funeral services were held Wednesday (Dec 7, 1966) at two o'clock from the Van Hove funeral home. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery. Rev. Thomas Stewart Officiated.
