Charlotte L. Dagit-McMillen, 85, of Alden, Iowa, died Nov. 27 at Scenic Manor in Iowa Falls. Charlotte Louise Waterbury was born Feb. 10, 1920, in Storm Lake, Iowa to Frank and Lucy (Robinson) Waterbury. She graduated from Storm Lake High School in 1937. On Feb. 25, 1940, she married Lawrence Dagit in Storm Lake. She married Byron Polen April 17, 1970, in Eldora. She later married Donald McMillen on April 24, 1986, at the Morgan United Methodist Church in Dows, Iowa. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Alden and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoyed flowers, her garden and pets, sports, fishing and spending time with her family.

Mrs. McMillen is survived by her children, Larry Dagit of Brookline Station, Mo., Cynthia Bell of Fountain Valley, Calif., Frank Dagit of Alden, Bill Dagit of Eldora, Iowa, Connie Edgerton of St. James, Minn., John Dagit of Cheyenne, Bob Dagit of Missouri Valley, Byron Dagit of DePere, Wis., Tom Dagit of Iowa Falls, Charles McMillen of Marietta, Gal., and Sharon Monsrud of St. Paul Park, Minn.; 24 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands, Lawrence Dagit, Byron Polen and Donald McMillen; a daughter, Mary Lu Dagit; three grandchildren; and a brother, Charles Waterbury. Funeral services were held Dec. 1 at the United Methodist Church in Alden with burial in Alden Cemetery. Friends may contribute to the United Methodist Church in Alden.
