Richard L. Larson, 79, of Albany, Ore., formerly of Seattle and Kailua, owner of Dick's Downtown Texaco and Hazelwood Apartments manager, died December 31, 2003 in Albany. He also was a U.S. Army veteran who served in World War II. He was born in Goldfield, Iowa. He is survived by wife Lillian; son Richard; daughters Catherine Thompson, Barbara Villaruel and Catharine AhYou; brothers Edward and Robert; sister Marilyn Winterton; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services held in Oregon. Donations suggested to The Healing Rooms, c/o Fisher Funeral Home.
