Graveside services for Helen I. McCoy, 85, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Mountain View Cemetery in Beaumont, California. Weaver Mortuary in Beaumont is handling arrangements. She died Thursday of heart and lung failure at her home. Mrs. McCoy, who was born in Dows, Iowa, lived in Beaumont for 44 years. She was a elementary school teacher for 27 years, including 17 years as a first-grade teacher at Wellwood School in the Beaumont Unified School District. She is survived by one daughter, Diane J. Moore of Beaumont; one son, Barney "Mick" of Hesperia; 12 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and one sister, Leah Albright of Everett, Wash. The family suggests contributions to DASH Inc., P.O. Box 8370, 306 W. Colton Ave., Redlands, 92375-1570.
