Jacqueline Kay Douthit, 44, of Eagle Grove, died Friday, February 3, 2006, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 7, at the Foust Funeral Home in Eagle Grove. Pastor Tony Sollazzo officiated at the 11:00 a.m. service.

Jacqueline Kay Glass was born December 11, 1961, in Las Animas, Colorado, the daughter of Jerry and Shirley (Harper) Glass. She was raised in Kansas, graduating from the Buhler High School in Buhler, Kansas in 1980. Jackie moved to Eagle Grove in 1997. On September 19, 2005, Jackie was united in marriage with Patrick Douthit at Webster City. The couple made their home in Eagle Grove. Jackie has worked for the U.S.D.A. since 1989. Jackie loved animals and enjoyed creating charcoal pencil drawings.

Jacqueline is survived by her husband, Pat of Eagle Grove; three children, Ron Sanders and Jerry Sanders, both of Eagle Grove; and Amanda Sanders of Clarion; parents, Jerry and Shirley Glass of Hutchinson, Kansas; sisters, Virginia Snow and husband, Andrew of Wichita, Kansas and Terri Licktieg and husband, John of Hutchinson, Kansas; grandmother, Pearl Glass of Texas; mother-in-law, Nancy DeJoode and husband, Bob of Knoxville; father-in-law, Quinton Douthit of Texas; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather. Memorials may be directed to the Wright County Humane Society.
