Dr. Adrian L. Wood, 75, of Neosho, Missouri, died on Friday, December 30, 2005, at his home following a lengthy illness. Dr. Wood was cremated and a memorial service will be held to celebrate his life on June 3, 2006, at his home in Neosho, Missouri.

Adrian L. Wood was born on September 27, 1930, in Zearing, the son of Lloyd and Opal Shaver Wood. Adrian was a 1947 graduate of the Zearing High School and later graduated from the Palmer Chiropractic College. He began his first practice in Clarion in 1960. He later moved to Colorado and Missouri where he continued to see patients until a few years prior to his death.
He is survived by his wife, Deloris Bell Wood of Neosho, Missouri; three sons, Stacy Wood of Salt Lake City, Utah; Dr. Scott Wood of Garner and Dana Anderson of Chariton; three daughters, Faith Wood of Coralville, Stephanie Brea of Denver, Colorado and Adriana Wood of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two brothers, Gerald Wood of Livingston, Texas and Richard Wood of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one sister, Lou Ellen Chalk of Beloit, Wisconsin; ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant son, James Warren in 1954.
