Sadie Margaret Brady, 85, of Vista, California, formerly of Iowa Falls, died Tuesday, March 26, 2002, in California. Funeral services were held Monday, April 1, at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Iowa Falls, with Father Jim Dubert officiating. Burial was at St. Mark's Cemetery.

Sadie Margaret Brady was born February 9, 1917, at Kanawha, to Martin and Caroline Heffle Nelson. She graduated from Goodell High School in 1935. On June 10, 1939, she married Joseph Brady at Belmond. They lived in Belmond for a time; was a long time resident of Iowa Falls; and Sadie moved to California in 1999. She was the proprietor of Brady's Religious Goods in downtown Waterloo for 25 years. Sadie was a member of the St. Mark's Church and the St. Mark's Guild.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Joseph; one granddaughter, Annie Oehlert; two sisters, Elma Olson and Margie Nelson; four brothers, Marson, Milo, Claire, and Martin, Jr. Survivors are three sons and daughters-in-law, James and Sandy Brady of Gray Eagle, California, Joseph and LaVerne Brady of New Berlin, Wisconsin, and John and Deb Brady of Ocoee, Florida; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and James Furleigh of Fallbrook, California, and Patricia and O.T. Belcher of Tolar, Texas; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; three brothers and one sister, Bob Nelson and Harold Nelson of Belmond, Valva Draper of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Roger Nelson of Santa Barbara, California.
