Nellie E. Didio, 86, Ft. Dodge, died June 21 at Trinity Hospital. Services were held June 25 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home Ft. Dodge and at Corpus Christi Catholic Church with burial at Corpus Christi Cemetery. Nellie Dettman was born February 28, 1915 in Belmond. She graduated from Belmond High School. She married James 'Clem' Didio on February 7, 1934 and they lived on farms near Clarion, Golfield and Renwick. They moved to Ft. Dodge in 1958. She and Clem often camped at Lake Cornelia.

Preceding her in death were her parents, John and Roseanna Brennan Dettman, her husband in 1990, three sisters, and one granddaughter. Survivors include: son, Darwin and wife, Joyce, Duncombe; daughter, Beth Ann Grebner and husband, Leonard of Ft. Dodge; sister, Edna Pickering and husband, Ernie, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
